Martin said: First impressions using a Dell Streak are very positive. As I use Mac, this is the first Dell product I ever use. At 5 inches it’s big but still fits in your pocket. Dell has adapted Android to the larger dimensions and the whole experience is more comfortable. Forget about the m in your URL, you can browse normally. The 5 MP camera is great for videos an pictures, it comes with edit software. On the negative it uses an unusual charging cable and the power button is too close to the camera button. Will be even better with Froyo. It is the biggest smartphone but it is thin and light, much smaller than an iPad.

Microsoft Phone Data Manager Beta is an application that is designed to take away the worry of losing data on your phone – specifically contacts, music, pictures and videos. It does that by synchronizing your phone contacts with Microsoft’s Windows Live Contacts store in the cloud, or by helping you download files from the phone to your local computer.

<a href="http://specials.msn.co.in/sp08/msphonedatamanager/images/mdm_top.jpg"

Contacts: Microsoft® Phone Data Manager Beta synchronizes the contacts present in your phone with your contact store on Windows Live Contacts, which is the same store that your Hotmail contacts uses. This way, your phone contacts are always present on the internet, accessible via the contacts link on Hotmail. If you lose, or simply change your phone, all you need to do is to synchronize the contacts using Microsoft® Phone Data Manager Beta, and all the contacts that you stored in your Windows Live Contacts store will be downloaded to your phone. You can synchronize your contacts as many times as you like so that the changes you make (edits, additions or deletions) on your phone, or on the computer on Windows Live Contacts are always reflected on both your phone and the Windows Live Contacts store.

Music, Pictures and Video: In its current form, Microsoft® Phone Data Manager Beta will download the music, pictures and videos present in your phone to a local folder on the computer you are using this application on

Communication with your phone: Microsoft® Phone Data Manager Beta can communicate with your phone via a wireless standard known as Bluetooth, or via a USB cable.

In order for you to synchronize contacts, you will need to have a Windows Live ID (any Hotmail ID is a valid Windows Live ID). If you do not have one, you will be prompted to create one while you use the application.

Free Download.

Everything Dream was sent a short clip of a sweet looking device that seems to fit the description of HTC’s Dream phone powered-by Android OS!

The video footage of what might be the HTC Dream looks mighty pleasing and could possibly be the first-ever iPhone 3G killer. How and why you might ask? It’s simply because the Dream offers every single features on the iPhone 3G and more. By more, I mean a slide out QWERTY keyboard, same 3.5-inch touchscreen, GPS, and did I mention the goodness of Android OS?

HTC recently reaffirmed that the Dream phone is on schedule for Q4 launch, debunking rumors of a delay by analyst Trip Chowdhry of Global Equities Research. According to Chowdhry, HTC is “having structural problems to incorporate Google’s demanded feature set”, while Google “is not able to attract enough developers because toolkits offered by Microsoft, Apple, RIM and Nokia’s Symbian software group have sucked up software developers’ attention.” HTC reached out to sister site Android Community to set the record straight, and reiterate – as Google themselves did back in June – that Chowdhry’s information is incorrect and that HTC are still on track for a Q4 launch.
