I don't think the 1st one is a bug, running 3.0b2 is not necessary, since the Firefox developers are still testing it. I run Firefox 3.0b2 on Windows XP/ Vista and I have experienced serious crashes. I think it was ok for Ubuntu to release Hardy Heron alpha 4 with Firefox 2.0.0.10, the official release can come with 2.0.0.11 or 3.0 <b>if</b> testing is over. Why in God’s name should a fully fit Linux distro come with BETA Softwares.
I don’t think the 1st one is a bug, running 3.0b2 is not necessary, since the Firefox developers are still testing it.
