Firefox 3 Ready For Released in June 2008
By Planet Lowyat - March 22, 2008

A new version of Mozilla’s popular Firefox Web browser 3 is ready for “prime-time”, for download with improved security and memory use as the tiny company takes a stab at Microsoft Corp’s dominant Internet Explorer.
“In many ways it (Firefox 3) is much more stable than anything else out there,” Mozilla Corp Vice President of Engineering Mike Schroepfer said in an interview. Engineers at Mozilla are still putting the finishing touches on the software and hope to release the final version of Firefox 3 by the end of June. A fifth round(Firefox 3 beta 5) of changes, due to begin within the next few weeks, will involve “tuning the visual look and feel of the program” and further improving its stability,” Schroepfer said.
Most all Firefox users have been living their days on the Web with version 2 for a good long while. It is. But as with all things technological, progress is made, and it just so happens that Firefox fans (and perhaps a large number of potential converts-to-be) have some nice things to look forward to when Mozilla puts version 3 of its open-source phenom front and center. One of which is the news that Firefox 3 manages to perform its Web browsing duties while using considerably less computational resources - in particular, memory (RAM).
Let’s see and wait for the Firefox 3 official release in June 2008.
