By Planet Lowyat - August 16, 2008

AMD has announced 4 new processors aimed at the desktop market. The new CPUs are based on existing architectures, but have apparently been streamlined for greater stability and longevity, improved productivity and energy savings.
These new processors are:
- 2.4-GHz Phenom X4 9750B Quad-Core
- 2.4-GHz Phenom X3 8750B Triple-Core
- 2.9-GHz Athlon X2 5600B Dual-Core
- 2.5-GHz Athlon X2 4850B Dual-Core
There was no news on price or exactly when these new chips will start tipping up in our business class PCs, but it can’t be far away.
By introduce a new processors to desktop market, AMD hope most of the customer choose AMD instead of other competitor.
