Internet Explorer Addons
Written by Planet Lowyat on February 15, 2008 – 5:24 pm -Personally, I’m fans of Firefox but you’ll find a bunch of cool browser extras (other then Google Toolbar) to make Internet Exlorer way more usable. Yeah! Sometimes I force to use IE for certain web site, I hate that.
(A)IE7Pro (only IE7) includes Tabbed Browsing Management, Spell Check, Inline Search, Super Drag Drop, Crash Recovery, Proxy Switcher, Mouse Gesture, Tab History Browser, Web Accelerator, User Agent Switcher, Webpage Capturer, AD Blocker, Flash Block, Greasemonkey like User Scripts platform, User Plug-ins and many more power packed features. You can customize not just Internet Explorer, but even your favorite website according to your need and taste using IE7Pro.
(B)LeechVideo download favorite videos from popular video sharing websites (i.e. Youtube, Google Video, DailyMotion, iFilm, Metacafe, etc.).
(C)Inline Search is an extremely useful free add-on for Internet Explorer that mimics Firefox’s search behavior. It turns searching in a web page into a non modal research experience coupled with a find as you type facility. It integrates flawlessly into IE (version 5.5 or above), giving it that little extra that makes you a lot more efficient when you are looking for a specific piece of information.
(D)ShareThis lets you instantly access all of your profiles, blogs, friends, and contacts for easy sharing and updating. We think users should be in control of their online world.
(E)The Zamzar web browser button is a link you can add to your web browser’s “Bookmarks Toolbar”. You can use it to convert files from all your favourite websites at the click of a button.
(F)Feeds Plus is an Internet Explorer 7 add-on that makes your feed reading experience easy and efficient. You can read your feeds in a combined view (aggregate feeds) and get pop-up notifications when there are new items to read.
(G)ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a webpage. It should come in particularly handy for users who do a lot of web-based text entry (e.g. web mails, forums, blogs, diaries). Even if your web application already includes spell checking functionality, you might still want to install this utility because it is definitely much faster than a server-side solution. Plus you get to store and use your personal word list across all your applications, instead of maintaining separate ones on each application.
